As part of my ongoing commitment to fostering safe and inclusive outdoor experiences, I led a comprehensive research project focused on enhancing women's safety within running app features. This research aimed to understand the unique challenges women face while running and explore technological solutions to create safer environments. Through in-depth interviews, usability testing, and survey data, I gathered insights directly from female runners, allowing me to identify key areas where app features could be improved to prioritize safety.

By collaborating with product teams and leveraging qualitative research, I was able to translate these findings into actionable recommendations, such as real-time safety alerts, route-sharing capabilities, and emergency contact features. This research not only influenced product development for running apps but also initiated important conversations about the role technology can play in creating safer outdoor experiences for women.
